Granite Guyz is a full-service contractor working across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We handle kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and full whole-home renovations for both residential and commercial clients. Slab to finish, under one contract.

We are a service area business. We do not run a showroom. We run crews, and they move to the project. Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Richardson, Addison, Carrollton, and the cities in between.

The crew, not the franchise

Granite Guyz started in 2009. Owner Crispian Ng began as a granite fabricator, cutting and setting countertops across the Metroplex. One stone job led to the next trade, and then the one after that. Today the same crew runs full home remodels and commercial build-outs, but the name still says where the work began.

Here is what does not change. Texas does not license general contractors. There is no state board and no number for a homeowner to look up. That puts the burden of proof on the contractor. We carry it with finished projects, references in your zip code, and a written scope that spells out every phase before demo starts.

We know what DFW homes are made of

Anyone can advertise in the Metroplex. We plan around three things on every project.

The ground moves. DFW sits on expansive clay that swells up to 12 percent when it takes on water and shrinks when it dries. That cycle cracks slabs and shifts framing. We read the slab first on every full-house project.

The homes are aging. Most houses in our service area went up between 1970 and 1999. Closed-off galley kitchens. Panels never sized for a modern appliance load. Cast iron drains corroding under the slab. We know what the demo will find before the first wall comes down.

The heat is real. Triple-digit summers find every shortcut in a building envelope within one season. We build to current IECC energy code because the code is the floor, not the ceiling.

How we work

One contract. Every phase, in order. We read the slab, open the walls and run the trades, seal the envelope, then finish the surfaces last. Nothing pretty gets built on top of a problem.

On any DFW home built before 1990, we recommend a camera scope of the drain lines. That is the pre-PVC era, when cast iron ran under the slab. The camera is the best due diligence against mid-project surprises and change orders.
